Module II of the online Training Programme started with a recap on the themes discussed in the previous Module. Participants shared their highly relevant opinions and proposals about The 11 European Youth Goals (see attachments).
Then, the lesson focused on EU Accession Process and Procedures and particularly on the current situation of Albania and Montenegro. Trainees were invited to discuss in small groups with participants from all the 5 countries involved in the project, about the opportunities that EU membership could bring or have brought in their countries (for candidate countries and EU countries respectively) and on the challenges that might arise.
Then, their shared the conclusions of each small groups, showing an amazing awareness on the socioeconomic and political context of their countries and providing deep insights of the societies and communities which they live or lived in (see attachments).
The session went on with a presentation of the innovative and promising EU Initiative called New European Bauhaus, which was focused on the possible role that youth could play in its implementation and development.
Finally, a presentation of Best Practices of youth involvement was shared , focusing on the initiatives carried out by Municipality of Tuzi, Montenegrin partner of the project and an overall description of the ARTE project, highlighting the opportunities it may bring to the target group (see attachments).
For the next Module, trainees were assigned a challenging and exciting Homework: to write an idea/proposal for a youth project that could promote cooperation or inclusion in their communities….to discover them, don’t miss the Module III that will be held on Friday 13 of March, from 6 to 8 p.m. On Zoom platform!!
